7 Inez May's birth record does not record a father. The person who reported the birth was Alfred Eldemire. She went by the name of Hughlings most of her life. In 1940, traveling back to the US from the Canal Zone, she put the name of Eldemire as her maiden name, and also on her "Petition for Naturalization" Record. It appears that on her trip to see her mother in 1940 she discovered that Sydney P Hughlings was not her father. By 1974 and their Golden Wedding Anniversary, she used the name of Hughlings again. Inez May Bishop or Hughlings or Eldemire

38 Did Evan Powell (1733) fall out of favor with his parents? He is not mentioned in his father's will written in 1750 and proved in 1761...only his 4 sisters are. Yet there is a bond in 1804 where his sister Elizabeth, John Price and James Jones are seeking permission for Elizabeth to handle the affairs of Evan, her brother, saying he died without a will. Also his headstone is in between his parents and his twin Elizabeth in St Cewydd's churchyard. The headstone praises him highly... Evan Powell
